A Possible Unforeseen Impact of Google Wave(ing) Good Bye

It seems there may be a concern from the EMR/EHR Community with Google

While the article discusses the 'communications protocol' used being what
they were intending to build on for attempting to meet the rigorous growing
'standards' for data interchange and collaboration, Google Health has all
but vanished and it seems some of their developers were seeing Wave being
what could have saved their attempt to enter that market space.
