One thought, modeling what PRISM has done, they have a committee made up of vendors who provide ideas to make the annual Conferences more attractive to vendors. This Committee has a representative who sits on the PRISM Board so the members are constantly receiving input from the vendors who pay a large percentage of the operating costs of most trade conferences and educational programs.

Oftentimes a vendor who is unhappy with something will find that it was in fact another vendor who asked for this change.  Bringing the vendors together for consensus ideas first builds positive feelings about directions the organization is moving. Lori Palmer of REB Steel is this years representative for the vendors on the PRISM Board.
