John,
I'd recommend Napa (2 days), then south to Monterey (1 day), and Carmel 2 days. B&B's are your best bet in all areas.
It's all BEAUTIFUL, you'll have a great time whatever you decide to do afterwards.

Subject: San Francisco trip following conference
Good day all......
For those of you who are familiar with the San Fran area, what spots would
you recommend my wife and I visit following the conference. We have seen
LA so that does not interest us. I have heard of a coastal highway which
may make for a scenic drive. I've heard that the Napa Valley is quite
nice as well. I have a week and would like to stay in a location for a
couple days and then move on. Any recommendations?
Thanks,
