Indeed, that's probably true. <generalisation> And in my experience, a lot of senior managers are not too interested in general statistics, or stories from other organisations - in many cases, they are more moved by statistics and stories from inside their own organisation. </generalisation>
There are various projects underway (around the world) to give RMs the tools to better measure potential risks and opportunities related to records and information in their own organisation. Perhaps this is a better direction for ARMA research - or there may already be such guidelines available in the ARMA armoury... :-)
