I have been very pleased with Destroyit shredders (http://www.destroyit-shredders.com). We have two, one 9 years old, the other 5. No mechanical problems. They make of full range so you can choose your level of security and volume. The machines have never needed service, but I did contact their customer service this week with a question and received an immediate call back from a person who was knowledgeable and answered my question -- why couldn't I find any opaque shredder bags? Seems the feds and the banks complained about the opaque bags, they wanted transparent!

Subject: Can anyone recommend a shredder?
The law division in my office is contemplating on buying a shredder. Can anyone recommend a brand or type of shredder we should by? I know there are a variety: cross cut shredders, diamond cut shredders, confetti cut shredder..etc.
We have a small legal dept. - about 10 staff members
If anyone can recommend a certain shredder or know if any shredders are recommneded by ARMA, I would greatly be appreciative.
