I "heard" the same story about Chase, however, the second half of the Chase story
is sure, they have stopped foreclosures because they sold off the mortgages to 
allow someone else to do the foreclosing. Makes them look pretty good too, huh.

I know of a few Chase mortgage holders that were on their way to foreclosure when
they got the notice their mortgage had been sold.

Foreclosures surely require complete documentation and while I'm sure some lenders/services have outstanding records systems, something tells me there are lots of documents which are not in good order from the sub-prime crisis.
