Hi Mitchel,

The Local Government Management Association of British Columbia
published a manual for Classification Scheme and Records Retention a few
years ago and have it for sale in PDF format. I got permission to load a
couple sections of it into my Eloquent Records RIM software. A video of
this can be seen at
http://eloquent-systems.com/powerpoint/Classification/index.htm.

Do not hesitate to contact me directly is you have any questions about
it.

Regards,
Merv

Subject: [RM] Need Assistance - Records Classification

Hi Records Folks,
Hope that all of you are doing well. I am also doing fine.
Just a quick question about how to build a records classification across
an organization starting from the scratch?
Is Anyone would like to share his/her records classification work
experiences with me? Do you have a work sample about it? I would
appreciate.
What will a best approach for a records classification?
Right now, I am preparing to build a retention schedule within my
organization.
Any thoughts will be very much appreciated.
Thank you in advance to all of you.
Have a nice day
Mitchel
