Surveys are strange animals... they can be tailored to give whatever results
you want based on how questions are asked and what the selection of
responses are.

Do you still beat your wife?

Yes
No

(Is there a correct answer?)

How often to you kick your dog?

Less often then in the past
More often than in the past
Less often than you beat your wife
More often than you beat your wife
The same frequency with which you beat your children

(Again, is there a correct answer?)

Would losing all the data on your computer be:

Devestating
Similar to the loss of a loved one
Worse than the loss of a good friend
Like totaling your car
Like totaling your mother in laws car

(Choose wisely, the responses may be made public)

What about losing all the data on your WORK computer?

Equally as bad as losing my data
Worse
Someone else has to worry about that
What data?
You mean it isn't backed up?

(Yeah, you may have SOME responsibility for this)

It's always helpful to gather some demographics on your respondents to
assess the value/impact of the responses (industry segment, personal or
business, public or private sector, country of origin, responding for one
computer or an entire enterprise, age group, sex [this one can be tricky-
are you looking for male/female, yes/no, frequency, etc.] )

Always remember to choose wisely http://bit.ly/fKmOBP
