I'm writing to see who else might be attending The Sedona Conference
Institute's (TSCI) 5th Annual Conference on Staying Ahead of the eDiscovery
Curve which is March 17 - 18 in Philadelphia. If you're attending, let me
know as I'd like to know what other records professionals might be
attending. If you are considering it, I recommend it highly as a unique
conference and very, very relevant to forward-thinking Records Managers.

I'm registering today (there are still some spots open) for the second year
in a row. ARMA is a sponsor of the conference and ARMA members receive a
discount on registration. I attended this last year for the first time and I
think I may have been the only Records Manager in attendance. It seems the
attendees are more in-house counsel, outside counsel, eDiscovery vendors and
some from IT. Last year three magistrate judges spoke along with several
other excellent and relevant speakers. This year the conference looks just
as good with a little more focus on social media and cloud computing.

For those who may never had attended, there were informal polls taken by
show of hand for various specifics of how companies are carrying out their
legal holds, existence of specific policies and results of their
application, etc. All in all I found it to be an excellent conference to
attend as a records manager with information, speakers and an audience which
wouldn't be available in any other forum.
