Hi, Kevin,
The language, as far as I know, is "foreseeable" and the hold should be
issued as soon as anyone in the company becomes aware of "foreseeable"
legal, regulatory or audit action that may require a hold. And as soon as
Records Management foresees the need for a hold, we must put the hold on
using the broadest interpretation of the records needed to be held. It is
very easy to remove a hold from the records not needed in the electronic
records management system, when the exact parameters have been defined.
