I'm a little confused about the first paragraph.
My graduate students all ask about getting a CRM. Until next spring they are
archives students who are taking a records management class. Most of them
have something resembling at least one year of records management
experience. Starting Spring 2012 Indiana University, Bloomington's School of
Library and Information Science is offering a certificate in Archives and
Records Management. There will be an archives track as well as a records
management track. The records management track will require taking at least
four records management courses as well as courses in the MIS degree. All
classes will be live, none will be online or even live video. We tried
synchronous video for the past four years and are very unhappy with the
quality of the interaction and education.
How many years of documented experience will the students need and what will
they need to document after graduating with the records management track?
Best wishes,
Carol
