So is this records related? Yeah, I'd say so... if it succeeds it will
impact a RECORD number of Macs

As one commenter points out though, it's NOT a virus per se, it's
MALWARE... you have to do things to let it in... and most of the time it
comes in on 3rd party software.  So newer Mac owners, those accustomed to
operating in a PC environment where there is tons of untrusted cheap 3rd
party software out there instead of trusted sites that check software prior
to posting it for users to grab, are the ones most likely to get hit.

Make sure you're running the most recent OS (or at least 10.6, with all the
patches), avoid untested software, and you should remain safe.  MACS rule!
