Keep in mind what is in the file with the clinical drug trial information 
along with your specifications and test data.  Some clinical drug files 
include safety warning literature, MSDS sheets, etc.  In the event that 
there is a recall or legal issue down the road, you might want consider 
product liability issues, statute of limitations, and possible workers 
compensation retention requirements.  In some industries, that can be up to 
30 years AFTER the product is discontinued or replaced.
