I hope you don't mind me commenting on this thread (not meant to be sales oriented), but places like FedEx, Office Depot, Staples and UPS  offer shredding services for consumers and SOHOs -- via a partnership with Iron Mountain. They charge by the pound, vs. the time it takes to shred.
