Good Afternoon James,
Our firm also employs a ten year from matter closing as a general rule of
thumb for retention. We are in the infant stages of putting our retention
program in practice as we are very young firm. My feeling is that attorney
work-product should be offered back to the originating attorney for review
and disposed of upon their say so.
Best,
Alexander Campbell
