Saying goodbye to email

University of Mary President Monsignor James P. Shea has cut the cord to
his office email.

Things had gotten so bad that, when he had a free day to himself during a
recent trip, he ended up spending the day weeding through his office inbox,
sorting the digital chaffe from the wheat.

“I realized I was a captive to my email,” he told an audience of U-Mary
faculty and staff last week.
