I started out in 1983 as an Office assistant in the Archives & Library department of The First Church of Christ, Scientist. Records Management was part of the Archives. A few years down the road -- the powers that be separated the Archives and Records Management. I had the delightful choice of choosing one or the other. I chose the Records Management Department. I continued as the Office Assistant and also helped on RM projects. One of which included an inventory of boxes in our own off-site records center. During my tenure there, the records center was moved three times. I also moved into the records management analyst position and supervised the vital records program. It was a fun 20 years there....
