Good Day Everyone!  I hope everyone is having a fabulous week!

I'm interested in hearing how you define Private and Confidential records.

We are in the planning phase of migrating records from an existing EDMS (Open Text Hummingbird) to SharePoint for our Engineering and Construction Department and they have really opened up what we had defined as Private or Confidential records. I'm considering the broader definition for security and permissions. For example, they consider copyrighted materials ((manuals, catalogue sheets, brochures, etc) as private records and we did not when preparing our RIM program definitions.

Thank you for any thoughts you can share on what you define as Private and Confidential records!   We may very well have some gaps and I'd love to hear what this experienced group has done! Have a great week!!
