If this is truly an issue, something that has not been clearly established,
then I would recommend a re-certification exam. Eliminate the maintenance
credit program altogether, a questionable endeavor to begin with, and
replace it with an exam covering current trends within the industry. Just
think of the money that the ICRM could rake in under this model, I mean
that is what it is all about anyway, right? There is precedent for this and
it could work. Of course it would require folks to stay current.
