I am new to RECMGMT-L and not a CRM but have qualified to test.  I also 
have my reservations about getting my CRM because of Part V.  I took the 
Part V exam a couple years ago because I thought it would be easy since 
just moved to Records Management after a 15 year career in Capture, 
Index, and Storage Administration of a ground up Content Management 
system. I designed, trained and administered the system but I failed the 
test by one question.  The majority of my questions were micrographics 
related (I had no experience in that area) and many of the referenced 
materials in the study bibliography were not even available anymore.

I know they have updated both the handbook and bibliography since then, 
but I haven't been back because it seemed like an extreme case of taking 
my money and not really teaching me anything relevant about Records 
Management.
