Great one!  I miss those too.  We had an old long station wagon that you 
could climb into the engine compartment literally.  That thing was 
customized because you could do that easily with more room.  Loved and 
miss those days.  : (

Glen:

I had tomato soup and grilled cheeses (not on white, but sourdough) last
week!  OK, the cheese was not American singles, but a mix of smoked gouda
and cheddar, but it was still good for dipping!

I miss car engines where you can access all the parts and replace them
yourself.  One of our old family cars (72 Ford LTD Country Squire) had a 
400
cid V-8 and room under the hood for a human or two to work on it
