After a successful initial class, the E-Records Institute at IMERGE Consulting
has announced the scheduled dates for online certificate training classes in
electronic records management (ERM) for the rest of the year 2014.

The classes are delivered in HD video, and contain a mixture of live lecture,
PowerPoint slides, live software demonstrations, short guest lectures,
whiteboard sessions, instructional (and some funny) videos, practice quizzes,
and interactive Q & A.

The 3-day classes - all online - have been approved for 14 CRM Continuing
Maintenance Points (CMP) from ICRM.

Based on the textbook, "Managing Electronic Records: Methods, Best
Practices, and Technologies" (Wiley 2013), two courses are available: ERM-
Basic Concepts and Fundamentals (ERM-B) and ERM-Advanced Concepts and
Best Practices (ERM-A).

Also, new classes in Information Governance begin in June, based on the new
textbook, "Information Governance: Concepts, Strategies, and Best Practices"
(Wiley, 2014).

Robert Smallwood is the primary instructor and author of both textbooks.
