Good idea Stephen.  We are implementing FileTrail as our RM but I'm not sure it will be ready in time for the move.  We have/can get scanners, and can put together a simple Access database or Excel spreadsheet just for this purpose.  And thanks for the reference Larry, I'd seen those posts from Nov 2013, but most seem to deal with general office moves.  I was specifically looking for information on file room moves.
