IRS Spent $33 Million to Store Paper Tax Records The Internal Revenue Service paid approximately $33 million for paper tax records storage services in fiscal year 2013, and as of March 2014, and the agency had 5.42 million cubic feet of paper tax records stored at various Federal Records Centers across the country, according to a new report. The report <http://www.treasury.gov/tigta/auditreports/2014reports/201410074fr.html>, from the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration, pointed out that inefficient management of costs related to records storage reduces the resources that the IRS has available to deliver its mission. http://bit.ly/1DfdFpD Source: http://www.accountingtoday.com/news/tax-essentials/irs-spent-33-million-to-store-paper-tax-records-72338-1.html See if people are clicking on this link: http://bit.ly/1DfdFpD+ Try the bitly.com sidebar to see who is talking about a page on the web: https://bitly.com/pages/sidebar List archives at http://lists.ufl.edu/archives/recmgmt-l.html Contact [log in to unmask] for assistance To unsubscribe from this list, click the below link.
