I know I'm late to the party, but what I lost that I wish I could find is my Mother's gold communion cross.  I wore one Mother's Day and I lost it at...Burger King of all places.  I'm pretty sure it went into the trash...and my high school class ring - again at a restaurant.  I gave it to my then boyfriend who took it off and laid it on the table...
