We have learned from being "price gouged" in the past and having to change vendors. Prior to reboxing any box, we require our vendor to send us the list of boxes to be reboxed for our approval. Upon receipt of the list we verify those box numbers are still in storage and check to see the last time they were checked out to us. If it was a recent checkout and we noticed no problem at that time, then we question the need to rebox. We also may or may not go to vendor site to look at the boxes ourselves. We prefer to rebox ourselves when it is needed rather than rely on the vendor to do so. It's less costly AND we know the documents are placed in the new box in the correct order (no spilled piles of files hastily scooped up and crammed into the new box).
