Liz,
We set our scanners up to read both sides of the documents and after the scanning job is completed, we QC and remove all sheets that are blank. By doing this, we ensure that no information is lost.

Subject: scan reverse side of page?
Are there guidelines for scanning a 2-sided form when the reverse (back)
side is blank? This is not a form with "page 1, page 2" but a simple form
with lines on both sides. Sometimes the writing on the front of the form
continues on the reverse side, sometimes not. My preference is to scan
both sides so that the reverse can be shown as part of the complete image,
whether written upon or not. What say you? And if you have any
references for either approach, that would help a lot!
