The Tidewater Chapter of ARMA International presents its annual spring seminar ORCHESTRATING RIM (Records and Information Management), on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, from 8:00 a. m. to 4:30 p. m. at the Newport News Marriott at City Center in Newport News, VA 23606.

Most recorded information originates in digital form, and many paper documents are scanned for storage and retrieval as digital images. This session will examine key concepts and issues associated with systematic management and control of electronic records.



Working Collaboratively: IT, Legal, Security and RIM
George Darnell, CRM
A successful Information Governance (IG) or Records and Information Management (RIM) program requires collaboration among every-one who has a vested interest in the enterprise's information. In this session we will explore what collaboration is and the vested interests of key players: IT, Legal, Security, and RIM.
