Dear colleagues, let me share with you my opinion about possible future of
Blockchain.

It was conceived as a technology for criminal activities and for subversion
– why “forget” that fact? No worthy government will tolerate that. To become
legal, the technology should be endorsed by legislation (i.e. by
government). So the blockchains of the future will either be under the
control of known authority(-ies), with clear understanding of whom to fine
and jail if something goes wrong; or under the strict surveillance and/or
direct control of law enforcement/intelligence community.

So far no unbreakable technology was developed during millennia. Are there
any naïve people out there believing that Blockchain will be a unique
exception? :)

Since Roman times people are using trusted agents / parties in order to
ensure security and trust to records. In my opinion, single really trusted
party is a better (and greener :)) option than a zillion untrusted nodes.
BTW are you aware of the size of modern botnets?

Just my personal thoughts.

With my best regards,
Natasha
