Hi,
My name is Bonnie Chaney, and thanks to a posting on the listserve, I have recently taken a position with Amylin Pharmaceuticals in San Diego, CA. I used to post my questions to the listserve from Quintiles Clinical Supplies in Mount Laurel, NJ. So far, I am really enjoying the change!
I am currently reviewing the policy on destruction of records that have passed their retention period. I have a question for those of you who destroy your records in-house, rather than contracting to a document destruction company. How do you document the process? For instance, if you are shredding paper records, do you create your own Certificate of Destruction or similar form? Or, do you maintain a log with an inventory of the files destroyed?
Thanks,
Bonnie Chaney
