Any responses to the following questions would be appreciated: 
 
-Do you capture director/officer info on clients for conflicts?  If so
how is this organized in the conflicts database?
 
- In addition to checking the firm's internal conflicts database, do you
perform in depth background research on all potential clients before
they are officially placed in the system?  If not all, certain types of
matters (i.e. Financial institutions, IP, etc.)?
 
-What databases do you use for in-depth searching?  Is there a standard
checklist?
 
-Do you perform any on-going research on a regular basis for a portion
of clients (i.e. top 100 corporate clients)?
 
-For laterals, do you search the background of laterals prior to
performing conflicts searches on the clients/matters?
