Lee:
I do the tracking, using whatever sources I can find to alert me to
changes in Federal and State laws and regs. Sometimes the City Attorney
will let us know if there is proposed change, although, truth be told, I
usually let them know first. The Steering Committee folks are usually
aware of any state and federal regulations that pertain to their
divisions (EPA, State Health Dept., State Water Quality, Dam
Inspections, etc.) and let me know when there are changes. We also use
a web access tracking system for the state legislature when it is in
session. We do not use any electronic tools to monitor changes other
than web access to federal and state laws and regs.
