James--
$50 per box sounds awfully low to me. I'd recommend conducting a sample
survey of what it would cost to recreate the contents of 10 randomly
selected boxes. That is, the time and cost of supplies involved by
administrative and legal staff to rebuild files, plus the estimated costs
to replace client-owned materials. Try not to include the cost of clean
printed copies of electronic records - these are direct copies that
probably should not have been printed out in the first place.
That's my 2 cents,
Stephen

The boxes contain primarily client files active
and inactive. Does $50.00 per box seem adequate?
