Beer, Canada's unofficial icon, takes a step toward legitimacy | Eat | Life

On Wednesday, Labatt Breweries of Canada revealed to the world the results
of Project Dusty, a four-year project that saw archival experts assemble and
organize records, memorabilia and advertising materials spanning 164 years
of brewing heritage. The company took a leap of faith with the project, with
an unknown value to the material, and a corporate and cultural history of
Labatt's that resided in thousands of "boxes, drawers and filing cabinets"
in locations across the country
