the two stories deal with two different things. the Examiner story is about
records that had been requested from PG&E. The San Mateo County Times story
concerns memos that that had been shared with a Congresswoman. I know the
back story on the memos, but I will leave it up to LarryM to tell that story

If you go here you can read the memos in questions. note that personal
information was redacted which calls into question how did the San Mateo
paper get Larry's name?

The San Francisco Chronicle also published a story (which was posted earlier
today) about the memos, but did not name Larry.
