Is anyone aware of a commercially produced training course that covers the basics of security for electronic information stores, especially things like transmitting and storing non-public, personally-identifiable information in documents and email (e.g., social security numbers, driver's license info, passports and immigration docs, salary and compensation info, personnel health info, etc.). I'm not looking for something that is geared for IT security professionals; I'm looking for something that a company would use in its personnel training materials, to introduce the subject of information security and present the basic best practices regarding use of IDs and passwords, locking down computer equipment, encrypting sensitive email and document transmission, protecting info in network drives by setting up restricted access groups, etc. If anyone is familiar with a vendor that has produced such a course or can recommend a particular title, I'd very much appreciate the information. Thanks.
