Minimum Requirements
3 years of records management experience involving public contact and
supervisory duties. Associate's Degree.
Position Duties
Supervises the records section of Development Services. Trains and instructs
clerical support staff to collect, review, compile, index, and classify
information for all official development services records for accurate and rapid
retrieval. Establishes and maintains filing system procedures that include both
hard copy and electronic files of blueprints, shop drawings and plans,
supporting documents and folder files for development and building permit
applications in process, and electronic files for approved development and
building permit files. Reviews information and recommends system and
procedures for storage, disposition, archiving, security, and disposal of
documents, records, and materials. Demonstrates continuous effort to
improve operations, decrease records request turnaround times, and works
cooperatively and jointly with Development Services, other divisions, and the
Development Management Team (DMT) to provide quality seamless customer
service.
