Historic Petersburg records now online - News - Progress-Index PETERSBURG - A vast treasure trove of Petersburg court documents from the 1700s to the 20th century are now available to the public thanks to a long effort to digitize the records. The Library of Virginia recently announced it has completed Petersburg's chancery records digitization project. The digitization effort means that nearly 240,000 documents are now available to the public for free through the Virginia Memory Web portal (www.virginiamemory.com). http://bit.ly/NdeKEI Source: http://progress-index.com/news/historic-petersburg-records-now-online-1.1353977 See if people are clicking on this link: http://bit.ly/NdeKEI+ Try the bitly.com sidebar to see who is talking about a page on the web: http://bitly.com/pages/sidebar -- Peter Kurilecz CRM CA [log in to unmask] Richmond, Va http://twitter.com/RAINbyte http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/RAINbyte/ http://paper.li/RAINbyte/rainbyte http://pinterest.com/pakurilecz/archives/ http://pinterest.com/pakurilecz/records-management/ http://www.linkedin.com/in/peterakurilecz Information not relevant for my reply has been deleted to reduce the electronic footprint and to save the sanity of digest subscribers List archives at http://lists.ufl.edu/archives/recmgmt-l.html Contact [log in to unmask] for assistance To unsubscribe from this list, click the below link.
