Good afternoon,
I will be in Tulsa, OK next week on business (August 20-24), and would really like to spend some time with a consultant or practitioner experienced in SP2010, to help me fine tune my skills. I feel like I've got a decent grasp on basic SP2010 operations, but would like to learn how to become a little more efficient in some areas, and being out of the office next week in Tulsa, may be just the opportunity to do that-uninterrupted.
What kinds of things am I looking for help on, you ask? Good question...
1. I've developed an InfoPath form (for indexing offsite storage boxes) housed in a SP2010 Library that I'd like to use to populate either an Excel spreadsheet, or Access database. Is this possible?
2. I just created a SP List from an Access database, and need help figuring out how to automatically update the List when I make changes to the Access database.
3. And the biggie... how do I move (or copy) emails out of Outlook and into a SP Library or Folder using SP--right out of the box, without a 3rd party add-on or application. Is that possible?
I have other SP2010 questions too, but if I can get help on these specific items then I'd be as happy as a lark!
Please understand, I am not looking for anyone to do these things for me, but rather, I really want someone to work with me and show me how to do them so that I can learn. And remember... patience is a virtue! Any takers? Or, does anyone know of any SP experts in the Tulsa/Oklahoma City/Houston areas who may be available? I still have some $$$ in my budget, so let's negotiate something reasonable!
Three quick side-notes; First, I'd be willing to make a quick trip down to Oklahoma City either that Wednesday or Thursday (Aug 22nd or 23rd)to meet if there's no one available in Tulsa. Second, I'll be in Houston on that weekend, and would be available to meet for a couple of hours on Saturday morning, Aug 25th if I can't find anyone in Tulsa or Oklahoma City who can help. And third, depending on your rates, you must be willing to invoice me.
