Vermont State Archives opens court records for research Montpelier, VT – Secretary of State Jim Condos announced today the successful completion of the first phase of an ongoing initiative to preserve and improve access to archival court records. Orleans County court records are now open for research by the public at the Vermont State Archives and Records Administration (VSARA) in Middlesex. The records depict 145 years of Vermont court history, documenting changes in civil and criminal jurisdiction; shifts in penal practice; the development of the judiciary and the legal profession; and legal rights that persist today. http://bit.ly/OZqGcH Source: http://vtdigger.org/2012/08/13/vermont-state-archives-opens-court-records-for-research/ See if people are clicking on this link: http://bit.ly/OZqGcH+ Try the bitly.com sidebar to see who is talking about a page on the web: http://bitly.com/pages/sidebar -- Peter Kurilecz CRM CA [log in to unmask] Richmond, Va http://twitter.com/RAINbyte http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/RAINbyte/ http://paper.li/RAINbyte/rainbyte http://pinterest.com/pakurilecz/archives/ http://pinterest.com/pakurilecz/records-management/ http://www.linkedin.com/in/peterakurilecz Information not relevant for my reply has been deleted to reduce the electronic footprint and to save the sanity of digest subscribers List archives at http://lists.ufl.edu/archives/recmgmt-l.html Contact [log in to unmask] for assistance To unsubscribe from this list, click the below link.
