The documents from the Southern Environmental Law Center included lists of
donors — “Mayor Michael Bloomberg” and local opponents of the U.S. 29
Western Bypass — a U.S. passport application, credit card statements,
strategy papers and personnel evaluations for a pair of interns.

All those records and more turned up in Google searches leading to the
center’s website on the same day the Charlottesville nonprofit group sent
emails and posted a notice online declaring that the organization had
“experienced an Internet security breach.”
