Well it looks like no power for four more days.  Here is where having big dogs comes in handy.  They pile in the bed and the 40º night air isn't so cold. Remind me next time to check if the dogs snore as they are like having a generator running in your bedroom.

The photos of NYC make you wonder how the City will ever recover but they always do.  

Hey, you guys in Florida........keep your hurricanes down there.  We don't send our blizzards to you.  Do we??  

Somebody upstairs is playing fast and loose on the Trick or Treat.  As Fred said, last year a freak snowstorm and now a freak hurricane.

Not to mention it ruined leafer season.  That is the season where tourists come in and we sell them colorful leaves, overcharge them on hotel rooms and tell them that the apple juice they are drinking is really high priced cider.

I am going trick or treating tonight dressed as a fallen tree.......
