Esteemed Colleagues --

I know that humor as it relates to Records and Information Management has been the subject of many posts in the past. And, more recently there were some humorous posts relating to a new acronym for "The Principles." However, I have a little different spin on it, hence the need for your help.

I report to the VP and Associate General Counsel for Employee Relations and Southern Company Services Compliance Officer. Several years ago he was given responsibility for the Southern Company Information Governance Program and the Southern Company Services Ethics and Compliance Program. In his role as VP for Employee Relations, he developed the following unofficial tagline:
TRY (incident investigation),
CRY (employee discipline), and
FRY (employee termination),

Can you think of any words similar to these that would apply to information governance? Also, I'm not opposed to a whole new set of words that apply to Employee Relations/Labor Relations (unions), Compliance and Ethics, and Information Governance.

If you need more details on the organization, just let me know.

I know that Friday afternoon, when we're are all a little giddy and ready for the weekend, might be the best time to make this request.

Maggi Johnsen
Southern Company Information Governance Program
