Not a new story, but with the Holidays approaching, the concept od using
your debit card sparingly makes a lot of sense

There aren't any "bulletproof" solutions, but what I've done is opened up a
couple of extra credit cards with LOWER credit limits on them.  I use one
specifically for online purchases and another when I travel.  This allows
me to easily track all transactions and in the event of a breach, shut the
card down quickly.
