Why wait for anyone else to come up with anything different or excuse the
inference "better" ?

Internally, what organizations adopt are policies and practices, supported
by procedures.  Why not simply refer to whatever it is you adopted as that?

No need to hang a brand name on it, Kleenex or Scott Tissues serve the same
purpose when you blow your nose, so do napkins and paper towels... do you
need to label what you call these?

This whole "garp" thing is much ado about nothing.
