The simplest way to change the language is to spell out the acronym.  Change GARP to Generally Accepted Recordkeeping Principles and you will have an accurate reference.  This way if the acronym or nickname changes again, you will not have to rewrite all your documentation.  This holds true for University courses as well as for training courses.
