"If you have received this e-mail in error, please immediately notify the
sender by return e-mail and delete this e-mail from your computer
system."  Seriously has anyone ever done this, responded to the person
that sent it in error?

Yes, actually - I've received things which were wildly inappropriate for
me to receive on a few occasions and have responded.  Now, whether I did
that in response to anybody's email disclaimer?  Not so much - I just knew
that the information transmitted wasn't for me, and shouldn't have come to
me, and thought that the sender was an idiot.
