Hi Sophie,

Of course, it ... depends.

First of all, do you have this wording into text of contract - with reference to the legislation you brought, that both, or all parties agrees that electronic... is considered as official.

2. It depends on type of contracts - if you buy something small, it is possible that e-version is enough, however you will need to accommodate different changes that could happened in your agreement - prices, cancellation, changes of specifications...

3. What your legislation says about "architectural records", as they have lot of stages, and it depends on your internal procedures how you are dealing with changes that are made on the spot during building and construction, and have to be kept " as build" as "last" official record.

Regards,

Alex Babin

Good morning to everyone!

Do you require an original signed copy be sent to file or are you accepting scanned copies as the official version when working with tender contracts?

Under what authority are you relying on?

We have the Electronic Transaction Act and the Electronic Records as Documentary Evidence Act.

Any information would be most helpful.

Thank you,
