Some years ago our local ARMA chapter started an Outreach Committee. That committee put together a Powerpoint presentation that was an intro to & overview of RIM. We then contacted other local chapters of other professional organizations, businesses, libraries, and other types of organizations & said that we would come to their location and give the talk for free. We did get some response and gave the presentation at some local businesses and organizations. We were quite busy with it for a while.

So one avenue to consider might be working in your local ARMA chapter to do something similar. You can work with other chapter members to develop the presentation, and then gain speaking experience by volunteering to be the presenter.
