Glen,
I think it would vary depending on how you define Business Records -
structured and non-structured?. In my world, a Business Record is one that
is required for regulatory or spcefic business need. General information,
of course is everything else. We just did a short analysis of
non-structured Business Records vs general information (aka transitory
trash) and it still remains at about 30% of the information created is
considered Business Records...that is identified as the official Business
Record.
